With the abundance of grain crops planted each year there is plenty of food for South Dakota pheasants and grouse. Chokecherry and plum bushes in the draws provide great cover for the pheasants. The dogs are in seventh heaven flushing the birds for you. 

The South Dakota hunting season gets off to a great start with dove hunting on the first of September closely follow by grouse the third Saturday in September. The big bang of the season comes with the opening day of pheasant hunting. The opening day of pheasant season is usually the third Saturday of October. Plan a great hunt with our combo packages. You can hunt grouse and dove in the morning and then we will branch out to the cropland to finish out a great day of pheasant hunting.
